Award achievement at ICP 2013
CIPRB has won the first prize for the research paper “Cost-Effectiveness on an Injury and Drowning Prevention Program in Bangladesh” presented by Dr AKM Fazlur Rahman, Executive Director, CIPRB at International Congress of Pediatrics (ICP) 2013, the 27th Congress of the International Pediatric Association, held during 24-29 August 2013 at Melbourne, Australia.
ICP 2013 is the global meeting place for Physicians, Researchers, Nurses and Health Care Workers in the field of Pediatrics and its sub-specialties. The ICP 2013 focused on promoting and improving child and adolescent health and setting it as a priority on the world agenda, specifically on “bridging the gaps in child and adolescent health”.
More than 5,000 international leading experts in the field of Pediatrics joined together, and presented opinions, strategies, methodologies, treatment gaps and practices concerning respectively pediatric and also adolescent health care. The Executive Director of CIPRB Dr Rahman presented his research paper “Cost-Effectiveness on an Injury and Drowning Prevention Program in Bangladesh”, won the first award and brought the pride and honor for Bangladesh as well as for the CIPRB.
