"The CIPRB has had a tremendous impact on the way we
see drowning and drowning prevention. From the very first
presentation at World Water Safety Conference in 2008,
until today, International Life Saving Federation has been
keenly aware and a large supporter of CIPRB research,
advocacy and tireless efforts to reduce drowning across
Bangladesh. Whether that protecting children through
creche, teaching survival swimming skills, flood mitigation
or establishing lifeguards on the beaches of Coxs Bazaar.
On this World Drowning Prevention Day, 25 July 2023, and
on behalf of the Board and Members if ILS, we congratulate
the CIPRB trustees, executive and field staff, and all
involved in drowning prevention across Bangladesh."
