Position Details

Position: Assistant Research Coordinator

Salary: 45,000 BDT/month

Duty Station: Dhaka (Routine Field Visit)

Duration: Six months

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct in-depth desk reviews by gathering, organizing, and synthesizing documents, reports, and other data.
2. Analyze secondary data to identify key trends and insights aligned with the study objectives.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to design study tools like questionnaires and interview guides.
4. Pre-test data collection instruments and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
5. Develop training materials and deliver capacity-building sessions for the data collection team.
6. Plan and coordinate all aspects of fieldwork, ensuring smooth logistics and resource allocation.
7. Supervise field activities and troubleshoot challenges during fieldwork.
8. Prepare progress reports on desk reviews, field activities, and data analysis.
9. Draft the final study report with synthesized findings and actionable recommendations.
10. Coordinate with project stakeholders and field teams for efficient implementation.
11. Engage with local authorities to secure permissions for data collection activities.
12. Ensure ethical standards in data privacy and participant confidentiality.

Job Requirements

1. MBBS with Master of Public Health (MPH).
2. 2-3 years of experience in public health, data collection, or research implementation.
3. Experience in designing and implementing research studies, including desk reviews and data analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
5. Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
6. Flexibility to travel to field locations for supervision and monitoring.
7. Strong understanding of the local context, including cultural, social, and environmental factors.
