Position: District Coordinator

Salary: 40,000 BDT/month

Duty Station: Bhola, Sunamganj

Duration: February 2025 to December 2025

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordinate the implementation of Fistula and Maternal and Perinatal Death Review System (MPDRS) project activities at the district level.
2. Collaborate with health facilities and service providers to ensure proper identification, treatment, and rehabilitation of fistula cases.
3. Facilitate the establishment of MPDRS within the district.
4. Organize and conduct capacity-building sessions for healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, and midwives.
5. Support community health workers and volunteers with training and supervision for fistula case identification and referrals.
6. Engage with communities, religious leaders, and stakeholders to raise awareness about fistula prevention and treatment.
7. Monitor and evaluate project activities to ensure high-quality implementation and timely reporting.
8. Conduct field visits to oversee program activities at the grassroots level.
9. Establish partnerships with government health departments, NGOs, private sector partners, and community stakeholders.
10. Represent the project at district-level meetings and forums.
11. Coordinate with referral centers and hospitals for effective case management.
12. Ensure efficient resource distribution, including medical supplies, training materials, and outreach tools.
13. Advocate for improved health services for fistula management and MPDRS at the district level.
14. Identify implementation challenges and develop solutions for program success.
15. Ensure compliance with national and organizational guidelines and ethical standards.

Job Requirements

1. MSS in Social Science/Equivalent (Master of Public Health (MPH) preferred).
2. 2-3 years of experience in public health and program implementation.
3. Experience coordinating with DGHS, DGFP, DGNM, and GoB agencies.
4. Proven experience working with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
5. Flexibility to travel to field locations for supervision and monitoring.
6. Strong understanding of local cultural, social, and environmental factors.
