The IDRC-B established the Model Drowning Prevention Centre in its field operation area Raiganj for the systematic study of drowning interventions in rural villages. The centre includes a training venue, a model Anchal, and a portable swimming pool. The model centre is a completely equipped venue for training Anchal caregivers and community swimming instructors.
