Dr. Moonmoon Aktar joined CIPRB in 2020 as training coordinator in Disability Friendly Health Care (DFHC) project. She acted as a Master Trainer and trained more than 400 health care providers (doctors, nurses, medical assistants) on the topic of “Disability Friendly Health Care (DFHC)”. She has experience in Medical System, Patients Management, Awareness Building Program, Training Module & Healthcare Research. She is working as a Research Associate for last 2 years and contributed to organizational research projects guided by senior researchers and assisted in writing research proposal, concept note, implementation plan, systematic literature review, development of quantitative & qualitative questionnaires. Before engaging in the field of public health, she completed Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from Dhaka National Medical College, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She also studied ‘Master of Public Health (MPH)’ at University of Glasgow, UK under the scheme of ‘Honourable Prime Minister Fellowship Award’, Govt. of Bangladesh, 2019-20, First Phase.
